At Nelson's International School we recognise the value of extra-curricular activities and sports activities in addition to the regular academic curriculum.
Our students have access to a large playground which is used for many sports games including basketball, volleyball, hockey and badminton among many others. Students also learn and play local games such as kho kho and kabbadi.
We have recently provided new international-standard table-tennis tables where students can learn and develop their skills in table-tennis as well as learning the rules of the game.
For younger students we provide modified sports equipment so they can learn some basic ball skills as well as developing their abilities to play as part of a team.
We also take our students to a larger nearby sports-ground where our annual sports day tournament takes place with parents encouraged to come and watch their children take part and cheer them on!
