LIBRARY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'The library is overflowing with more than 3,000 fantastic books related to science, fiction, literature and many other subjects. Our students have a regular reading period in which they can make books their best friends. As part of developing a love of books and a love of reading students also have the opportunity to write their own book reviews starting from 1st Std.

The library timings are from 10:00 am to 4.30 pm daily (open on all school days Monday through Saturday, and selected holidays also), with a dedicated librarian available to assist students and teachers with research and book selection. Within the library there are classics and modern texts for young readers as well as unabridged forms of the classics for older students.

We have many classic books by Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy, Daniel Defoe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Alexandre Dumas, Rudyard Kipling, William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, and Oscar Wilde.

Students also have access to current authors and the latest titles, including the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, the Artemis Fowl series, Cornelia Funke's Inkspell, Inkheart and Inkdeath, as well as titles from RL Stine and many other current authors for our student readers.

In addition we have many reference books available for all school subjects. Our library subscribes to Indian and international periodicals and magazines including National Geographic and the newly published 'BBC Knowledge' magazine series.

We encourage our children to start reading at an early age, and for primary students there are several series of books including Noddy, the Enid Blyton series, Famous Five, and the Oxford Reading Circle. We also have titles such as A Bear Named Paddington, Charlotte's Web and many other interesting story books and comics appealing to younger readers.

Newspapers and magazines containing current events are available on a separate stand for student and teacher reference. Four computers are available in the library and children can book in advance a time slot of half an hour with the librarian.
